Today marks the 6th year since the formation of f1sk, and over 8 years of some of us knowing each other. It's a momentous milestone for a small but sexual online community, I very much doubt there others out there like ours that have stood such a test of time.

So raise your glasses, and here is to another 6 years of random fun!

Much love! <4

I quote:

"Wolfram Alpha is called a computation knowledge engine rather than a search engine and wants to change the way people use online data. It aims to give people direct answers to queries rather than send them to other sites where they may find what they are seeking."

For example, search for 'weather, milton keynes' and it will return the current weather, statistics, graphs and history.
See: http://www98.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=weather+milton+keynes

It uses 10,000 CPUs over 5 data centres and uses thousands of databases for live and updated information.

It's quite amazing, I've tried a few things and it's pretty cool!

Right...

Linus is designing and creating the forum logo which hasn't be done since this skin was installed probably well over a year ago. I am also going to update the main website with a new logo, and maybe change the colours and have some slight design changes. I have some questions for you:

1) Is there any content anyone would like to see on the main site? All ideas welcome.

2) The main site files are currently split from the public_ftp, would you rather they stayed split or should they be integrated? If they are integrated - how? Have a /users/ sub directory in http://files.f1sk.net and have our own sub folders in that, or keep them all in /public_ftp/ and add a /main/ or /global/ directory to that and place all the main site files in that sub folder? What do you think?

3) Anything else at all?

All ideas appreciated!!

I have managed to get the N64 version of Goldeneye to emulate flawlessly on the PC, in both single and multiplayer. I have also managed to find a plug-in and configure it so that you can use a keyboard and mouse too play, although it doesn't work as well as you would think. So with some research and trial and error I managed to get XP to see the Playstation 3 controller and managed to configure it within the emulator so that you can play Goldeneye with it... and it works perfectly with only a slight issue when bringing up the crosshair, but it's nothing that a little practice won't fix.

The question is, does anyone want me to post a guide and all the files so they can play? I would write it up now, but it's a lot of work if no-one is going to use it.

Let me know, and in the meantime, here are some screenshots of it in action...
