The community known as f1sk started in 2001, it first started as a group of people who met online and started playing an online
game known as Counter-Strike together. After a couple of years of playing a very successful team war formed from members of f1sk
which was known as death:Incarnate, this team bought us all very close and we became good friends, thus later when the clan folded
due to all our lives becoming busier with exams, work and such like we needed a way to keep in touch as it was becoming increasingly
hard for all of us to be on mIRC together. Back in 2001 we all used to 'play' with the fish, fish became special to our community,
a kind of symbol, and thus with a little alteration to the word, using the Norwegian variant 'fisk' the name was born.
From this, the f1sk.net domain was registered and the forums born. Their have been many variations of the f1sk site, but mainly
the focus is on the forums.
The community as a collective shares a wide knowledge of everything computer related, from programming to video editing to networking.
Many people have a good knowledge of a wide array of different computer related skills, while some have very advanced knowledge
in specific areas. Generally, you can find someone in f1sk who can help you with most subjects.
